Absolutely beautiful. Made this to serve with panko and parmesan crusted lean pork sirloins (which also had a dredge in mustard and mayo, and chopped fresh sage). Highly recommend it – I believe it would work wonderfully with many proteins and vegetables. Makes more than enough to serve 6.

I came searching for a highly adaptable looking mustard sauce recipe, and this is exactly what I was hoping for. I appreciate that the recipe includes possible substitutions, because that is exactly what I needed to avoid a late night trip to the grocery. Definitely give this a try with bourbon and a spicy mustard sometime. It’s excellent. I’ll definitely be using this as a base for future mustard sauce experiments.
