- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon scallions green onions, cut diagonally
- 1 large garlic clove minced or grated
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger minced or grated
Combine the soy sauce, water, vinegar, scallions, garlic, brown sugar and ginger in a small saucepan, whisking to combine until sugar dissolves.
Heat over low heat for 10 minutes.
Remove and serve.
