- 1/2 cup light soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons ginger minced or grated
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 scallions chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Combine the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger, brown sugar, scallions and sesame oil in a small saucepan.
Heat until a low simmer so the flavors can marry.
Take off the heat. For a smooth sauce with loads of flavor, pour through a strainer and serve. For a sauce with my texture and flavor, serve as-is.
