Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Authentic Chimichurri Sauce is easy to make and doubles as a marinade and sauce. Traditional chimichurri ingredients will flavor any dish!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flat leaf parsley any overly large stalky parts removed packed
  • 4 large cloves garlic
  • 3/4 cup cilantro packed
  • 1 teaspoon dry crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • In a small food processor, blend the 2 cups flat leaf parsley any overly large stalky parts removed. Remove to a small-medium bowl.
  • In the food processor, repeat with the 4 large cloves garlic and 3/4 cup cilantro packed, adding to the bowl with the parsley.
  • Stir in the 1 teaspoon dry crushed red pepper, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup olive oil1 tablespoon red wine vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt to the parsley mixture. Stir.
