Lemon Caper Sauce Recipe

With briny capers, bright lemon, and rich butter, this EASY Lemon Caper Sauce is a winner on seafood, chicken, pasta, and veggies!

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 heaping tablespoon shallot minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoon flat parsley minced
  • 1/2 cup capers drained

Instructions

  • In a shallow saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the shallot and garlic, softening for 2 minutes.
  • Add the white wine, lemon juice, lemon zest and salt. Bring to a low simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the parsley and capers. Use immediately.
