- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- Pinch coarse kosher salt
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the sugar, whisking to combine. Add the cream and vanilla, continuing to whisk until the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from the heat and whisk in the bourbon and salt.
Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes before using. Mixture will thicken slightly and be a syrup consistency.
