- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons tamarind or liquid aminos
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 1-3 dabs hot sauce
Combine the vinegar, water, tamarind (or liquid aminos), brown sugar, ground mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and hot sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer.
Simmer on low and whisk for 5 minutes.
Cool and use or immediately.
