- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 stick
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 heaping tablespoon shallot minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 2 teaspoon flat parsley minced
- 1/2 cup capers drained
In a shallow saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the shallot and garlic, softening for 2 minutes.
Add the white wine, lemon juice, lemon zest and salt. Bring to a low simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the parsley and capers. Use immediately.
