5S Philosophy 👩🏻‍
  • Salt – Using a little bit of coarse sea salt in the dressing helps to bring out the other flavors. Make sure not to use iodized salt, as it can have an iron after taste.
  • Seasonings – Throw in whatever seasonings you’d like to! Fresh garlic, fresh herbs like thyme or oregano or even a pinch of red pepper flakes would all be great additions.
  • Swaps and add ins – After mixing, fold in crumbled bacon, minced shallots, chives, poppy seeds or minced celery for some texture.
  • Senses – Bright and tangy, apple cider vinegar dressing awakens the senses with a crisp aroma, zesty bite, and a refreshing balance of sweet and tart on the tongue.

Ways to Use It

The obvious way to use this apple cider vinegar dressing is as a salad dressing, but the uses go way beyond that! If using as a salad dressing, use on my favorite side salad, a fresh cobb salad, a kale salad or your favorite fall salad.

I also like to use this dressing as a marinade for meats. It’s especially great with chicken, pork and salmon. You could also use is as a tangy dip for fresh veggies like carrots and celery.
